All
trainees will receive a weekly wage of £40.00.
If the trainee is in a paid placement they will
receive an extra £10 per week bringing this
up to £50. Most employers will also give the
trainee a little extra at the end of the week. Over
90% of our trainees are in paying placements. |

The
Link Works will pay out bonuses to recognise the
improvements made by trainees and their achievements.
The actual amounts will depend on the course and
the level of the achievements but could total £1000
by the time you finish your training. |

Additional qualifications - these are top
up qualifications that you can complete at no extra
cost that will improve your employability when you leave.
8.A

and assistance with protective clothing and buying tools

those that complete the course over 90% will
gain full-time permanent employment.

To
get a trade you must
join the Jobskills programme.
In
construction the best place for apprentices to learn
the necessary skills is ON-SITE. Therefore after a short
period of off-the-job training you will be placed with
a construction company for 4 days per week and then
attend day release to develop your skills and complete
your apprenticeship.
